Our wedding 30.7.11

sunday afternoon baking

possibly the most exciting cakes ive ever made vanilla sponge bases, meringue toppings with colour changing popping candy and astro belts for rainbows and marshmallows for the pots of gold.... a feast for the eyes.

new adventures

my newly acquired dress making skills... so far....

latest studio work kaleidoscopes

Snow

THE VIEW I WOKE UP TO THIS MORNING THAT SPURRED ME AND ARIEL ON TO OPENING CHRISTMAS PRESENTS EARLY.... LOVE IT ....

self and other...

My new project based on the wedding dress, its history and the implications of marriage its self.

The wall paper prints are screen printing and the dress hand made 3/4 size, unwearable but it doesn't need to be its "arty"....

more inspiration ....

I wish i could ride my horse to church like this but i dont think my dress or my mother will let me.

George is gorgeous but very dirty and smelly and the combination of me in a white dress and a white and brown horse is not good one ....

Wedding inspiration

Wedding invite proofs

After hours in etching and lithography we finally

have a proof it feels like a mighty mountain has been climbed..... although i still have 150 good ones to do so i may have to call in reinforcements.

new studio and summer project ...

53 DEGREES NORTH

My first exhibition EVER .....530 DEGREES NORTH (york)...... etchings.....

just some inspiration....

Norfolk

The seaside has always captured my imagination ... it is something ive been thinking alot about recently.... especially the friendly seaguls.... i feel a painting coming on .....

I went to Bramham Horse trails the other day. It was my first time seeing eventing and boy did it take my breath away those people have guts or no brains either way its impressive.
